Our postgraduate programs combine coursework and research in a wide range of interdisciplinary areas related to human wellbeing in a sustainable environment.

The study of IHS promotes generic skills that enable graduates to:

  • think rationally and critically
  • manage complex projects
  • design and carry out research
  • build computer literacy
  • examine and test ideas and solve problems
  • analyse data and communicate information
  • work independently and in groups
  • apply knowledge to new situations
  • question accepted wisdom
  • be open to new ideas.

  • humanitarian aid, non-government organisations
