SymbioticA is an artistic laboratory dedicated to the research, learning and critique of life sciences. SymbioticA is the first research laboratory of its kind, in that it enables artists to engage in wet biology practices in a biological science department.

Science Communication

All scientists need to be able to communicate their work effectively, not just to their own colleagues, but increasingly to government, industry and the public.

The Science Communication group, within the Faculty of Life and Physical Sciences, provides undergraduate and graduate courses in communication and runs workshop programmes accessible to people in the area.
