Collaboration and Extension
Integrated Human Studies is by nature, a communal discipline. - It both promotes and relies on close interdisciplinary and interfaculty collaboration.
- Its academic impact rests on linkages with similar institutes, nationally and internationally.
- Its value to society and to world futures depends on how well it connects to government, industry and the world public.
We seek linkages and collaborative activitites with other institutes and organisations, nationally and internationally. We provide support for public events and general extension activities of relevance to IHS. We plan to run a Seminar series, Conferences and Symposia for Integrated Human Studies. If you are interested in joining with us on any of these activities, please contact us by emailing Neville Bruce neville.bruce@uwa.edu.au Extension activities: Diversity at University Seminar Series: This series celebrates the diversity of student nationalities at the University and provides a vehicle to learn more about their nations, their cultures and their shared aspirations and values. These monthly meetings will be advertised in our News and Events section. Collaborative activities:These relate primarily to collaborative research projects; see Current projects. Links:Associates: Colleagues who are actively involved in IHS activities. Institutions and Organisations: with cognate interests to IHS. |
