Centre for Integrated Human Studies

Seminars

We host two series of seminars and each has a unique focus.

Integrated Human Studies

Our IHS seminar series concentrate on aspects of the human condition.

  • What does it mean to be a human being?
  • What do we understand of ourselves in the phases of our lives and our relationships?

Seminar dates in 2010 will be advised.

Diversity at University

Our Diversity at University series features short talks from staff or students about their country of origin.

  • The talks may feature history, geography, food, music, religion or whatever the speaker chooses.
  • Discussion and socialisation follows, with ethnic refreshments provided.

Date: the third Friday of each month.

Time: 12.00pm - 1.00pm

Seminars may be held in the School of Anatomy and Human Biology Seminar Room 1.81, or at other venues.  Check our Events calendar for details.
